Earth was beautiful. Winter had been beautiful. Everything was beautiful. Mikal could not get over the beauty, the change. Heaven had been so clean and white, earth was full of life and color. He was not used to such things as this. Winter had reminded him of Heaven. The snow covered ground was whiter than that brightest white he could imagine. Mikal's eyes lit up as he walked, felt the cold of the season on his bare skin, the warmth of his clothes and bedding. It amazed him, everything was so pure and new. He had learned the laws of the earth, yet Mikal was a fortunate angel. God had given him so much. This second chance to be human was the best gift he had ever received. Mikal wept every day for the life and death of the sun. It was his new home, his new life. He was living his dream.
But once spring came, he wept anew for the life of the trees that had just given new foliage for the world to see. Multiple colors of greens and yellows, flowers bloomed in every color he had ever known. A smile always seemed to light his bronze face. It had amazed him how God had placed human life on this place, and oh! how they have grown! He spent hours and days studying art and architecture, music and science, vehicles and governmental systems. All these things he had learned by the teachings of angels, but never once experienced by touch. Mikal laughed easily as things surprised him with how they worked. And now he resided in this world, how much more could he possibly ask for?
God had placed him in a town of people who were close to his exterior age. Students walked the streets, talking and laughing, dancing and singing. It was lively. Mikal thanked his Lord every day for this opportunity. He did not take anything for granted. Every insult he received from people taught him new things about the world and how culture developed. He was the virgin of the world. Like a newborn child he explored, since he had not been able to in his youth. He had two months of history on earth, spent every day sick until his last breath. But Mikal could not remember this. He knew he had been born a human, but he had always been an angel from as far back as he could remember.
He walked around the campus of Cambridge, staring at the gardens as they bloomed in full for the welcoming of spring. It was mid-May now, but it did not matter to Mikal. The cold weather was slowly dying, but Mikal felt warm with the feeling of cold earth beneath his bare feet. He wore full length blue jeans of a light wash, holes ripped in the knees and worn out. He had been wearing them almost every day since the snow melted away. He had sat in the dirt and dug his fingers into the earth. His nose was buried in the blooming flowers. Nature was giving him a natural high. His long blonde hair extended past his shoulders and fell around his face. He stood once more and looked about the campus, noticing the women staring at him and smiling. He smiled back and waved at a couple of them before setting back in the ground. His button-down green plaid shirt hung open, exposing his bare chest. The sleeves were rolled up past his elbows as he lied down on the grass in a large patch of sunlight, enjoying the warmth from the heavens.

Winter had come and gone. In a way, it was a shame. She always thought the dark, cold season was so pretty, the way the snow enveloped over the banks and made everything so innocent and pretty. In a way too though, she was glad it was over. She wasn’t quite made for the cold season. It definitely didn’t agree with her at times and this last time around, she’d nearly gotten impaled by a monstrous icicle. Thankfully, she had managed to dodge it, but it had been a very close call. The trees had been barren and people wandered about with thick jackets on. She remembered passing by a dark, empty barrel on several of those cold nights and she had seen the poor men huddled around it, having fallen asleep nearly in a circle, the alcohol in their blood keeping them from death. Making sure none were around to see her, she would reach in and gently light the fires back up for them before smiling at them and wandering off into the night, never to be seen again. They never saw her and they never would.
Now it was spring, the middle of May to be exact. The sun rose daily, almost never covered by clouds anymore. Every day when the sun died, she smiled. Another night to herself. Of course, she didn’t get to have them as alone as she hoped for. Lucifer made sure to come and visit her several times in the last few weeks. Summer was just around the corner. People would be out in full force, having picnics during the day and partying it up in the night. She never really had a ‘slow’ season. Death never took a vacation. He had come to her again two nights ago and told her she needed to go to Cambridge. When she cringed, it made him laugh. Gods, she hated Cambridge. It was a town full of morons! College kids. Same thing, right? Gods! Lucifer was having so much fun laughing at how much this truly pissed her off. She only liked going to Cambridge if absolutely necessary, on her own time. She didn’t like it to be forced, like now.
She had put off going as long as she could. If she didn’t go there today, Lucifer would be banging down her door tonight. She did not want to see him there, so she bathed herself, dressed and headed for the horrid town of Cambridge. Knowing she would have to blend in, she refused to look like a common whore, as most modern college girls did. So, she opted for the nicer, more innocent look. Besides, she was going there to do a job. The innocent look was needed. The hard part was playing off the innocent personality to go along with it. Sighing, she walked with ease onto the campus, ignoring the looks she was getting from some of the college boys. Okay, time to play this up.
Her long, dark hair was down and waved slightly. A dark blue backpack that actually did have a few books inside of it, was slung over one shoulder. There were no identifiable markings on or in her backpack that would give any clue who she was. A simple, black t-shirt and dark blue jeans covered her body. Black shoes and socks were upon her feet. Darkly mirrored sunglasses were upon her face as she headed through the halls and then out into the more open area where people took breaks, had lunch and talked. She walked by a few girls that were giggling amongst each other and when she looked towards what made them laugh and smile so, she saw a blonde haired man waving at them, a sweet smile on his face, before he sat back down into the dirt. Ugh, gods..Lucretia rolled her eyes from behind her mirrored glasses, thankful that she had them on, before she continued on. She was actually moving closer towards the blonde man, but her eyes were distracted up at the buildings. She was looking for a specific one.

How could the earth be this rich? He lied in his patch of sun, staring at the blue sky and watching the clouds. It was so much nicer watching clouds than living in the them. They looked so playful as they roiled about the sky. He wanted to fly, but knew that this place would not be the best one to do it in. Too many people would stare. God had warned him about his wings, and not to use them unless he absolutely must. He had also warned him not to use any of his power unless provoked. Mikal had to be perceived as human as possible. All the things he had learned naturally how to use in his youth, he had to restrain here on earth. But it did not matter to him. He was happy being as human as possible. He loved it so much more. In the back of his mind, he wished he had not died as a babe.
The world was so big! He wanted to see it all. And he promised himself he would. But right now, Cambridge was his home. Mikal had plenty of time to see the world. He rolled onto his side and watched pedestrian feet as they moved across the paved stone of the sidewalk. The hard ground had taken some getting used to walking on. He had flown almost everywhere in the heavens, but now he had no choice but to use his feet. And he could not get over how heavy he had felt! Gravity was hard to get used to. Not that he floated in the clouds, but his body mass was held differently, making him lighter. Now he could not get anywhere just by jumping. But once again, Mikal had grown accustomed to it. It did not matter at all. As he watched the feet moved by, a air of black shoes caught his attention.
He propped his head up on his elbow and stared at the shoes, then slowly moved his eyes up her legs, hugged in dark jeans, then up her torso to the simple black tee she wore. The backpack on her back suggested she was a student. But there was a different smell about her. Mikal had learned this smell...it was inhuman, and dripped of sin and sex. Realization hit him like a ton of bricks as he realized that she was a succubus. The pull he felt toward her was related to. He had been waiting for her this whole time. God had said to him that she would be coming to Cambridge, and soon. And she is the closest thing he had seen yet to what God described her to be. She was his challenge.
As he steps moved past him, Mikal hopped to his feet and studied her. She was looking for something, and maybe he could help her. After all, he had been living on this campus for a good five months now, and new almost every building, room, nook and cranny that could be found in Cambridge. Anywhere in Cambridge. He ran his fingers through his hair, making sure there were not any twigs or dirt and grass in it. He went to the tree nearest him and slipped his sandals on, the only shoes he could stand to wear. If he had it his way, he would be barefoot everywhere he went. But he just watched her for a moment, heart speeding in his chest like mad. He felt so nervous. Waving to people was easy, but talking to someone? He felt like he should just wait until she came by again. Go, my Son, whispered in his head. Mikal knew the voice, and nodded more for his self reassurance than to the command of God. His feet moved slowly, he felt like he was shaking, yet he was steady. He sped up a little, not realizing how far she had gotten, then matched her pace. Here goes nothing. "Hey!" he called as he caught up behind her. "You...s-seem lost." He had stammered. Mikal wanted to kick himself, but he could not help the way he talked. His voice had a French slur to it, deep and masculine yet boyish at the same time. "Could I help you?" He had slowed his pace somewhat, thinking himself to be defeated. She would probably just ignore him and it would not matter. He had tried.

Passing by the first building, it took her a moment to locate the building number and she realized that was not the one she needed. Mentally, she growled. How much longer would she have to stay here? Until she found who she was looking for, that much was certain. At least the sun was to the back of her head, so it was not right in her face. That was a plus. Sunlight didn’t bother her as much as it probably should have, but that didn’t mean she liked it either. In her mind, she debated on whether she should take her time, which would be the proper way to get through it, or just go for quick and dirty. The latter would leave a potential mess, but it would get her out of there faster. There was a small slip of paper the size of a notecard in her hand. It was crumpled up and looked like it had been through a lot already. It had been stuffed into her pants pocket, but now, she had stopped and drawn it out to see it.
Upon it in pretty script writing of black ink, she glanced back down to it in her hand. She had the name and the location of the person she was supposed to find and she knew she was close. It was just a matter of narrowing it down further and further. She didn’t want to have to ask anyone. Really, she didn’t even want to have to talk to anyone if she could avoid it. The buildings were supposed to be numbered and you’d think they would be sequential, but oh no.. that was just too easy. Why make anything easy when it was much more fun, to some twisted, horrid administrator, to make it difficult? She was sure that the one in charge of layout just found it terribly amusing, as they stood around and sipped their coffee in the morning and afternoon, to watch students fumble around in confusion going from one area of the campus to the other. Lucretia had kept walking, her eyes looking up to where the numbers of the buildings would be. Why could they not be in order? She supposed that was too logical.
Lucretia glanced around from behind her glasses, trying not to look lost. At this point, she was oblivious that the blonde man was watching her. Across the grassy area, she could see another building number that looked closer to the one she sought. From what she had seen here so far, just because the number was close, didn’t mean the building was closer at all. She had taken a few more steps in that direction now, but had slowed down again to a near stop. She had to do this job. She couldn’t just leave and never return. She had to do it or Satan would come back into her place tonight asking her why. She didn’t want that either. Still, the blonde man watched her. Lucretia has passed him once already. Looking back and forth between the paper and the closest buildings again, she heard a voice come from behind her. Spinning around on her heel, she had heard the voice before, seeing now who was behind it.
The blonde man was there! What was he doing? He wasn’t far behind her. All right, so he had her attention, now what? He had called out to her, wanting her to stop for some reason. From behind her glasses, she looked from his sandaled feet, up his legs and of course not missing an inch until her eyes were set upon his skin that was exposed from his shirt hanging open. It was a green shirt. His light, honey colored hair hung down from his head in gentle waves and she had seen that oh-so-adorable face of his. He said she seemed lost. Lost? Oh! Right, yes, she was lost. Damn it. He nearly made her forget why she was even here. Just look at him! That stutter in his voice had nearly sent her over the edge, but no.. she held herself back, as much as she really did want to just run over, tackle him and pin him to the ground. She didn’t care if she took him in front of one hundred people that walked by. Her mind had spun off into a thousand different directions at the sight of him and the sound of his voice. He asked then if he could help her. A smile crept over her lips then as she took a step towards him. Did he know what he was asking? Oh, he could help her all right.. he could become her slave for the next few days as she took him over and over again. She could use her hands, tongue and even her own body to grace over every past of him, touching and tasting him She wanted to hear his soft voice groaning and screaming into the night for her.
“Yes,” Her one word answer was sensual and very drawn out as it would wrap around him. The warmth and vibrancy of her powers began to snake out and pull him closer, but once she realized she was even doing that, she stopped. Could he help her? Oh yes, yes he could! She had noticed the accent in his voice and the innocence he had about him had almost gotten him into a bad situation here with her. Surely he could not be that innocent! Taking another few steps towards him, she remembered why she was here, glancing to the paper in her hand, the back to him. Lucretia still had a job to do here and it could not be jeopardized by pretty boy.
“I am lost,” She let her smile fade a little more. How honest that statement could be sometimes. It didn’t occur to her until that moment how lost she probably looked here. Even though she blended in perfectly, she still needed help. It would have been so much easier if she had known where to go. Luckily, pretty boy found her and was able to. hopefully, give her directions to the building she was trying to find. If it hadn’t been him, it would have been another, but perhaps not one so.. determined. While she found him very alluring, there was something slightly repulsive about him too. It was almost.. ethereal. Truly? She questioned it in her mind for a second, but her focus quickly ended up thinking of him being tied to a bed, sprawled out naked before her, waiting for her touch. That voice of his, delicately accented and sweetly innocent.. she was betting his blood was tasty. While so many thoughts of him ran through her mind, her outward expression was calm and thoughtful, never giving a hint of those darker thoughts that already swam though her head. Beg for it, angel boy.
Shaking her head, she glanced down to her paper and then back to him, lightly extending her hand towards him that held the paper, almost as if she would show him. It wasn’t in her script, but someone else’s. Nobody would recognize it, but upon thinking better of it, just to be sure, she brought it back and folded it up, placing it into her pocket.
“I am looking for building 5D. Mister Martin? The buildings.. they are not numbered in a way that is easy to navigate,” She smiled then to him, hoping he actually could help her find it. Once she found it, she could get her job done and be gone from this place. Her eyes, from behind her mirrored glasses, slipped down from his beautiful eyes, his kissable lips and his neck, where she saw a chain that hung there with a small cross. It took her nearly all she had not to growl at the thing. She wanted to just rip it from his neck. What a horrible trinket. It was because of that cross that she did not move closer to him. It was probably good that he wore it, to be honest. It probably protected him from her and all she could do to him. Or.. maybe it didn’t mean a damn thing.

He wanted to run, scream, anything. But his feet stayed permanently rooted to the spot. It was not his will that kept him there. Demons scared him more than humans, no matter how human they looked. God was keeping him there, he knew. Otherwise, had it been up to him, he would have run away or never approached at all. But even behind those dark sunglasses, he could see the glint of malice in her eyes. He felt as if he were being undressed in her mind, and blushed a little from it. Mikal felt so embarrassed. She was stunning, and it was hard for him to believe that she were a demon. Though he could honestly say he was not surprised.
She had admitted to being lost. At least she did not hold herself in too high of a reguard and lie about it. He would have followed her any way. Not too be mean, but just to be a step behind her to see how long it would take her to find her building. He noted the piece of paper in her hand, which she had almost gratefully extended toward him before thinking better of it and replacing it in her pocket. It took all he could to not stammer something stupid. It was hard enough trying to sound calm around her, or even look calm! Mikal felt like his legs would give out from under him, and she would catch him, both collapsing to the ground, ending on top of her...no. He could not think like that! How impure it was to have such thoughts. He apologized subconsciously to God for thinking such a thing about another being. Even though God had His hand on Mikal's shoulder, he could not help but wonder if his Lord actually supported him. But how could he not? She was staggeringly beautiful, even if he could not see her eyes just yet. He hoped that would change. He tended to trust people who did not hide behind accessories.
That did not change her need to find her destination though. 5D? Wow...she was lost. He had met Mr. Martin a couple times, been to his class a couple times and asked him loads of questions. There was no one on campus he trusted more. But...what was her true intent? She was a demon, after all, and a powerful one at that. The evil that seeped from her had crept through the space between them slowly, then retracted. Did she do that accidentally? Would she stop those that got in her way? Take her there, Son, the Voice whispered. He nodded inwardly.
"5D you say? You're on the wrong s-side of campus." He laughed a little and looked down for a brief moment before looking back into her sunglasses. Mikal hated not being able to tell where she was looking. He felt her eyes on him, he felt the power in them, but he did not trust her one bit to be pure. Succubi were physically impure. He turned slightly, looking over his shoulder from the direction that she had come and turned back with a grin. ""The building, 5D, is in the North Sect." He bit the corner of his lip a little, hating himself for stammering so much. He was never this shy around humans! Was it because he was her Guardian? Was he afraid of being found out for what he was? Truly, that did scare him immensely. But he would not be afraid to escort her across the campus. "I can walk you there, if you don't m-mind." Just as long as she did not try anything funny. Mikal had a helping hand, and thanked God for it. Otherwise, he had no idea how he would survive this mess.

Lucy could sense his unease, that slight discomfort, a slight fear. Perhaps it was nerves. Did she make him nervous? Mmmmm, good. It was a bit comforting to know she could still have that effect on someone before she tried to kill them. Of course, she wasn’t here to kill the pretty, angel boy. The light blush that rose into his cheeks from his knowledge that she was probably looking at him in a sexual way, which she most definitely was, made her smile. She managed to keep the purr that tried to roll out to herself. Pretty boy was just that- pretty. He was boyishly handsome and she was betting he looked great no matter what he wore. He could have been in a tuxedo or completely naked and she would have been happy either way, just to see what he looked like.
Lucretia admitted she was lost; it might have been in more than one way some of the time, but for now, she would settle for the ‘lost on campus’ lost. She could practically hear Lucifer in her mind, advising her to enjoy herself at the expense of pretty boy once she was done with her job. Blinking her eyes slowly, she was glad that she couldn’t actually hear him in her mind. Anything he would have suggested regarding pretty boy would have been quite sexual, enough to make even Lucretia blush. That in itself was hard to do. His nerves swam back around near the surface of his skin after they had nearly disappeared for a few minutes. She did need to find Mister Martin and the building where he held classes and had his office. He was a recently divorced man and the whole incident had been brutal for him. She admired the way he forged through, never missing a class, never faltering in front of his students. Lucretia knew he was a good man. Now, maybe he deserved a reward for being such a patient man.
Her power had crept over the concrete towards him, the darkness of it trying to creep ever closer to him, trickle along his nearly bare foot and up his pantleg until she found.. before that could happen, she realized it was happening and reigned it back in. No need to scare the poor boy to death. What fun would that be? Lucretia was very good at what she did. Even as a human, she’d been able to tease the boys into a frenzy. As a demon, is was even better because it was so much harder to resist. She was actually trying not to use her powers on pretty boy here. She was keeping herself very guarded. Why him though? What made him so special? Had it been any other man, they’d be squirming on the ground below her, trying not to choke on their own drool at what she was doing to them.
His voice quietly, shyly came forth, questioning her place. 5D? He had to be sure. Such a good boy making sure he would direct her to the right building. She just gave him a nod before he told her she was on the wrong side of the campus. Wrong side? Oh, someone was going to pay for that one. He laughed and the very sound of it was musical to her. It tingled in her ears. What was that? She saw how he looked down for a moment before looking back to her. Another smile was given to him, but inside, she pushed back a little bit of rage that had suddenly bubbled forth. Lucifer. He had probably given her vague directions on purpose, just to be amusing. Lucretia saw him look over his shoulder, towards the way she had just come from. It was back? Oh great! Well, that just showed how often she had come here. Almost never. He grinned back to her and she almost laughed at the sight of it, but a chuckle escaped. He was going to tell her it was back the other way. It was only a matter of seconds.
He told her 5D was in the North Sect. What was a North Sect? It sounded so technical! She figured he meant that it was in the Northern part of the campus somewhere. Her eyes glanced over to where she had come from, where pretty boy had just been looking. Okay, so it was over there somewhere. When she looked at pretty boy again, he was biting his lip. Aw, that was so cute! It made her want to walk over and join in the biting of his lip, to gain his taste..He told her he could walk her there, if she didn’t mind. Like she would mind? Well, this was just getting better and better. He had that stutter come back to his voice, his fear swirling back. Lucretia smiled happily and walked over to him, closer and closer until they were about a foot apart. She could smell him and he smelled so good! It was like the woods, nature, the sky and the ocean...being close enough now that she had to look up slightly to see his face, her smile never faded.
“That would be very nice, umm..” She hesitated for a moment, almost calling him pretty boy to his face, but catching herself in time, “what is your name, if I may ask?”
She wasn’t really aware that he was an angel. The idea had briefly passed into her mind before exiting again. He had that luscious innocence and there was something mystical about him beyond his beauty. She had heard about what angels were like, but had never actually met one. This would have been a first for her.

He slowly began to wonder about her. His nerves were beginning to stave off the longer he stood and talked to her. Granted, it had only been limited conversation so far, but he was sure they would talk about a lot more. Or at least...he hoped they would. The walk across campus was going to take sometime. At least twenty minutes at a stroll. But Mikal had no way of knowing how fast she needed to get to him or not. Maybe he could talk her into grabbing coffee afterward. Coffee...oh how he loved coffee! Humans had it so great on earth. He almost jumped out of his skin at the thought of it, but remained outwardly cool. It had taken a while to get used to, but eating human food was the biggest comfort of being on earth. There were so many things to taste and experience. Even the things that tasted awful, Mikal ate it any way. He was not going to take anything for granted or be picky. He was happy with whatever the world gave him. Then again, a perk of being an angel is having an iron stomach.
Mikal smiled widely when she accepted his proposal. He had hoped for it, if only just to have the chance to talk with her. But then she asked for his name. He blushed a little, feeling embarrassed that he had not introduced himself early on. It was something that he always did right from the start. It was only proper, and it was how he was taught by his mother. Angels held such integrity and did not want to tarnish themselves with rude and awful behavior. Mikal almost bowed and asked for forgiveness, but held himself true enough. But he did not bother to hide the slight feeling of panic that leapt into his eyes. She wanted to know who he was. What would happen? He cleared his throat and opened his mouth to say a slur of apologies, then stopped. Humans do not act that way. And for all he knew, she did not know he was an angel. He shut his mouth promptly. Maybe if he had been home schooled, it would have happened. But not now. Should he ask for her name in return? It would only be polite, he guessed. But she could choose not to answer him, just as assuredly he could choose not to answer her. But Mikal knew better. She would find out anyway.
He chuckled a little as his display of antics and retried his approach. "Uhh...Mikal." He did not notice the hestitation she made. He passed it off as thought. His gaze led downward at her as he grinned once more. "Mikal Norçais." He bowed a little, showing forth what pride he had in his name. He had asked God for his given name when returning back to earth. He was given a prophet's name when he entered, being called Michael instead. English instead of French. Though, he supposed that it did not matter anyway in the heavens. He loved the unique sound of his name. Especially his last name. It was something that he attached himself instantly to. When he met his parents, he supposed, for the second time, they gave him his father's name, a very old family line in Paris. But it did not matter now. That was his own history, and not the future he held ahead of him. His joy of saying his full name showed on his face. A bright smile and glinting eyes. It made him feel the most human.
On a second thought, he decided that the mystery of not knowing who she was just yet would have to play through. He held no watch, but he knew that Professor Martin would not be around much longer. Mikal had spent a year studying the patterns of time and the movement of the sun in Heaven. This gave him the most insight on this aspect, besides knowing that he taught no classes past four o'clock. He popped up on the balls of his feet for a moment and bounced back down. "Well then, shall we get you there?" He was beginning to grow a mild sense of confidence around her. He would have to if he was to follow her about and make sure she did not get into too much trouble. The thought almost made him smile, but as he turned and began walking down the path, it faded into a small frown. She had lived a life of mischief and deceit. She had been to Hell. He could smell the evil on her aura and the sins on her flesh. There was no doubt she was a beautiful creature and could do anything she wanted just by wrapping her power about them, but Mikal was ignorant to most of that. He had no idea just how powerful, how old she really was. He innocent smile returned as he brushed it off. She just needed to see him about school work was all. He had noticed the book bag on her shoulder and shrugged off any other notion. "What year student are you here?" he asked, spinning to walk backward so that it was easier to talk. He wanted to keep on a close eye on her.

Lucretia was wondering all sorts of things about pretty boy here. Keeping them all to herself, since they were mostly heated and sexual, she felt the metaphorical blanket of them wrapping around her. Such naughty thoughts she had, but look at him! Obviously, he was blind to his own appearance. One such as him should have been arrogant and self-serving, but he was a complete opposite. She didn’t know how far back it was to 5D, but from where he had looked, spoken and seeing that it was back rather than forward, she suspected it would be a bit of a walk. Well, it would give them a chance to talk a bit, she supposed. She wasn’t very big on sharing, especially information about herself, but maybe this would be different.
Lucretia noticed his smile when she accepted his offer to walk her there, to show her the place she needed to find. It was heartwarming and sweet and it was a smile she hoped to see more of. Her mind began to drift again, to things she could do to him to make him smile, but quickly she tried to gain control in that again. When she had asked for his name, she noticed that blush rise into his cheeks. Everything he did was so picture perfect. Every time he blushed, she wanted to take the expression on his face to memory just so she could remember it later. He blushed easily. That was always fun. Several things happened that she stood and became witness to. First, his body tensed slightly, as if he had been caught in something. She didn’t know what because it didn’t come to fruition, but was merely a start before it vanished. Interesting.
Then, she could see the panic cross his eyes. Why was he panicking? Did he not wish for her to know his name? She would give hers in return if it would help get him to release it to her. He then cleared his throat and she was expecting him to tell her, but instead, his mouth opened, no sound came. One of her brows arched as she watched him. Oh, this was too comical! Why was he acting so strangely? Was he that embarrassed to give his name? His mouth shut and still she said nothing, waited patiently, watching him carefully, imagining things she could place into his mouth the next time it fell open like that. Lowering her brow, a grin spread over her lips more. He chuckled and it was cute. He was probably trying to redo the introduction in his head. He told her his name was Mikal. It didn’t sound so familiar to her. She gave him a nod. It was a nice name. It was close to Michael. That name was very common, almost sickeningly, but Mikal? No. It was uncommon. Mikal Norcais. Ah, Frenchie! The accent matched his name. She liked it, the way it sounded and the way he pronounced it.
He gave a small bow after his name and the gesture was very old, but showed good breeding, good manners. She half expected him to take her hand and kiss it, but she really didn’t think he would since he was so painfully shy. The way his eyes brightened as he said it made her recognize that he was proud of his name. Well, he probably had no reason not to be. Everyone should be proud of who they were.
“Norcais, Norcais,” She repeated it gently to herself a few times, mostly to remember than anything else. She figured he would be asking for her name next, but when he didn’t, she saw it as an escape to not have to tell it and so she stayed quiet. He told her they should get moving and she nodded to him, agreeing. She had to catch Mister Martin before he left. The last thing she wanted to do was hunt him down back to his residence and take care of it there. She just wanted to do this here, be done with it so then she could leave. Mister Martin was good looking for a teacher. He had to be in his early forties with long, full hair pulled back into a tail. His face had a groomed look to it, though facial hair did cover some of it in a goatee. Ew. It looked nice on him, she supposed, but she was not a fan of facial hair. At least she was going to get to do this with a hot teacher instead of some dinosaur. It was known that he kept himself in good shape, eating healthy and all that good stuff that one would do to extend their life. The only bad thing was that he smoked cigarettes. Another ew. Ashtray mouth. She supposed it wouldn’t be that bad.
The two of them were walking and she had started to think of how she was going to do this. Mikal’s voice rang out to her then and he asked what year of student she was. Glancing over, she saw that he had spun around to walk backwards, keeping an eye on her. She chuckled kindly and tried to think of how to answer that. How old did she look? Okay, she could figure this out. Really looking as if thinking it over in her head, she smiled back to him.
“Second year,” She smiled then, knowing Mister Martin taught both second and third year students. It covered her tracks well enough. “What about you?” She asked nicely.

It had been before he turned that his cheeks went pink once again. Her repetition of his name made his skin crawl with nerves. But he wanted to help her nonetheless. He knew where he was going as he walked backwards, being very careful not to fall over himself or miss a step. It was hard for him to not want to look upon her. Her beauty was a rapture, and Mikal was wrapped within it. Part of him tried to recognize it as her demoness charm enveloping him without trying. The other was personal attraction. Mikal was blind to beauty and ugliness. But he seemed to be enthralled by this woman, and who would not be in his shoes! He was an angel, speaking with a succubus, who knew he was an angel. And she let on, it seemed, that she thought he was attractive.
At this point, nothing seemed out of the ordinary to Mikal. He was actually enjoying her company, despite what little they said to each other. She had told him she was a second year student. But it never occurred to him that this was the first time he had ever noticed her. Maybe she just had a lot of classes everywhere else but where he was. It was always possible. But Mikal could swear he had seen every face at least once. But he had to go pink once again when she prompted him for his year. He was not enrolled in any classes here. God had sent him here to make friends with the younger crowd and to encounter his person to watch over. And now that she was finally here, it had not occurred to him that he had no cover story for his appearance on the campus. Oddly enough, he kept his cool. It amazed him how easily he had calmed his nerves about her, even though he was still nervous about her every move. He could sense her reaching power and almost, embarrassingly admitting, liked it. He liked feeling embarrassed in front of her. Mikal never seemed to be, but being nervous was a huge part of his personality. And the main reason for his behavior, is the fact that she was the one he had to get to know, watch over, and try to manipulate.
He spun back around and leveled his pace with the demon. It was a little more suitable than walking backwards so he could stare, unabated by sense of direction. “I’m…not enrolled. I work as a groundskeeper.” It was the truth. Mikal was not allowed to lie. He would never allow himself even if God gave him permission.
But it was the perfect job for him.
Mikal had always wanted to be close to nature, to better understand what it meant to be human. Even though most humans did not act as Mikal does, he loved being so close to the earth. He no longer stared down upon it form the heavens. He could interact as he pleased with the animals and plants and people and creatures such as lycans and vampires. He had met a couple while on the campus, but had never made it to a point where battle would have to be taken. For one reason or another, they seemed to lose track of everything evil when they encountered him, enthralled by his innocence and sense of virginity. Mikal was not embarrassed to admit that he still held his virginity. It was a purity he was not willing to give up so easily. He figured, no matter how hard the succubus may try, it would be hard to pull him under her spell, or wicked ways, whatever they were called. He would not bend so easily. “It gives me an excuse to be dirty…in the sort of non covetous way.” He grinned a little, color continuing to rise in his cheeks as he eluded to the matters in which she dealt.

Lucretia was very much enjoying that she made him nervous. Such innocence he had… she could just poke a straw into him and drink it up. It was a safe bet that Mikal tasted very delicious.. mmm… she’d make a point to find out soon enough. That pesky cross had to go, but the rest of him was yummy! She half expected him to stumble as he walked backwards, looking to her. Smiling over to him, she paid attention to him for a minute, her eyes studying him from behind those glasses. He was watching her back, but trying not to. This whole scene had to look strange to any who might be seeing it. Well, it didn’t matter. Lucretia didn’t actually know Mikal was an angel. She had her suspicions. She had smelled angel before, but it had been in a fight, so there was blood on both sides, angel and demonic. It was hard to tell, but Mikal did have a smell to him. It wasn’t a bad smell.. it was actually very nice. She’d have to test that in a minute too.
The more she was around him, the more she was trying to keep her powers as close to herself as possible. It was like she had been wrapped up in a shadowy cape that nobody could see, but she could still move around like a typical human. Lucretia was most definitely attracted to him. Already, she wanted him, but because of the difference within him, she wanted it to be a special time and place when she would take him for herself. Yes, there was no question to her mind at all in regards to him. She would have him. It was only a matter of where and when. Even if she had to come back to gods-forsaken Cambridge to get him, she would, if only to take him elsewhere. His company wasn’t too bad, despite that odd feeling that crept down her spine now and then as they walked. The more he looked at her, the more she wanted to ask him what he was looking at, but she didn’t. She had asked him about what year he was here. For all she knew, he was a student. It was possible. She wasn’t really a student, but she was hoping she was passing well enough for one. Some of the male students were watching her as she and Mikal passed by them, but her attention was only on him.
Waiting for his answer, she saw him blush again. It was too cute! He didn’t stumble or trip in his steps either, as she assumed he would. Saying nothing, she waited to hear what he would say. He turned back around so that they were both walking the same way. When she looked over to him, he told her he actually was not a student, but was a groundskeeper. Her eyes widened from behind the glasses and she giggled after gasping, surprised.
“Really? I don’t think I’ve ever known a groundskeeper to be quite so hot,” She smiled wider then and looked back to the buildings.
Oh yes, and he was HOT! Okay, so she just admitted to him that she thought he was good looking, but he set himself up for it. Even if he did end up being an angel, which would be weird, it didn’t stop him from being hot. It wouldn’t make her lose sight of who and what she was. That just would not change. A few moments passed and he told her it gave him an excuse to be dirty, in a non-covetous way. A grin began to spread on his lips, a small one, and the blush started to rise into his cheeks again. He just caused her mind to go into a thousand different directions with that comment. While they walked, she moved a little closer to him, so they were almost touching at the sides.
“Getting dirty is fun..” She grinned over to him, “besides, who said anything about coveting..?” She looked back to the buildings and then back to him again as they walked. She was close enough now that their conversations could be kept between them, but not quite close enough to touch. “How is it that you get clean? Tongue bath?” Smirking to herself, she straightened her posture, realized what she was doing and stopped quickly, mentally scolding herself. All of this time she was trying to keep that dark power to herself and she almost let some go there. Lucretia rarely coveted unless it was for a job. Even then, she didn't usually care to, but she considered taking all of his and her clothes off and just taking him right then and there.

He had been blushing for quite some time now. Blushing darkly. She was saying whatever was on her mind, no censor, no courtesy to her gender. It surprised Mikal completely that she would say such things out loud, and in public no less! But it made him all the more curious about her, and who she was, who she had been. Before becoming an angel, she had led a life of misdeeds and sin. God had only charged him with protecting her because he was so innocent. He thought it would be best for Mikal to handle something so brilliantly made. She had called him hot. He was not even sure what that was supposed to mean. Slang was lost on him most of the time. But from what he could gather, the smile she gave him and over hearing countless female conversations as they walked by him while he worked in the gardens, being "hot" was a good thing. It meant something beyond handsome. And for that compliment, Mikal blushed furiously. He must look like he was sunburned.
It had only occurred to him moments later that they stood so close to each other. Was it he who had done so? Last he knew, they had been a couple feet from each other, but now they stood close. Close enough to whisper and conspire. Mikal sighed slowly, nerves on edge as he walked next to this woman whom he had no intimate connection with. He had been taught by the angels to not walk so close to an impure woman, but he had defied that. But at her last comment as they walked, he stumbled over his feet, but caught himself quickly. A tongue bath? He tried to reply by it only came out as a stutter. "I...I...uh...well...I...sh-sh-shower daily." He let himself move a little away from her, afraid. But was he really supposed to be afraid? She was keeping to herself, her sin wrapped about her person instead of around him. His hands began to shake and he quickly shoved them into the pockets of his dirty jeans. Her body language was sensual and yearning, but he did not want to touch. He would not. How impure his thoughts became? Talking of touching a woman improperly.
A timid hand flew to the cross around his neck. He toyed with it unconsciously, saying a quick prayer and asking for forgiveness of God. How could he be so foolish? He was her guardian angel. A Guardian! He could not think such things about her.
His nerves began to calm down some after he had sent God a prayer, knowing it was not his fault. Why was he acting like such a child? Mikal shook his head mentally. He was still a child. He was in a new world, and he hardly stepped outside the grounds of Cambridge since he arrived. He was completely unadventurous, though he wanted to go to other places. The sun struck them as they walked across the courtyard in the middle of the Sects. Benches and tables were everywhere, as well as trash cans that needed to be emptied. He reminded himself of his work that he had to do once this was over with. He cleared his throat and ignored continuing the conversation about tongue baths. "So...uhm...what are you doing after your meeting with Mr. Martin?" It was a completely innocent question. But he needed to get to know her somehow. And maybe they could go somewhere quiet and talk.

Lucretia loved how he blushed and combined with his shyness, his stuttering, it drove her crazy. She saw no reason to keep her thoughts to herself, but in all actuality, she was keeping a bit to herself. While she told him a bit of what was on her mind, she didn’t tell him everything because she thought she’d scare him to death. There was no having that. It would be unacceptable, even though the prospect of bringing him back to life through extended sessions of mouth to mouth was something that appealed to her. A wicked grin crossed her lips again at the thought. Lucy thought it was very adorable how he looked slightly confused as she had called him hot. Oh, but he was hot. There was no getting around that. As much as she wanted to try and ignore it, she just couldn’t. She almost could not help herself from having her way with him right then and there. No, Lucy would keep herself in line for that much at least. When she had called him hot, he seemed to think on it for a moment before blushing fiercely. Inwardly, she laughed because she loved watching him become shy. She only spoke the truth on that. Mikal was very nice to look at and she was betting he was even better to taste and feel.
Lucy could not remember who had gotten closer to the other as they walked, but it did not really matter. It had probably been her and she didn’t mind. She liked walking close to him; close enough to smell him and feel a little bit of warmth radiating from him. The ideas of touching his hair and his skin while she kissed him, tasted him, made her want to do all of it so badly, which made her further restrain herself. If she wasn’t careful, she was going to lose control with him. She heard him sigh as he walked beside her, but she felt a bit of tension in the air again. When he nearly tripped over his own feet, she was about to reach out and catch him, her hands ready to grab at his sides and sweep him closer to herself. Mikal managed to keep himself from hitting the ground. When he did speak a moment later, it was in that sexy stutter that he had. He told her he showered daily and all she could do was laugh. Her laugh was sensual and sweet to the ears, very feminine and she considered offering him a tongue bath. The idea of licking him all over made her fold her hands together.
Poor Mikal moved away from her a little more as she had mentioned a tongue bath. She hadn’t even said it would be her giving one to him, just a general comments, and his nerves went into a frenzy again. She could sense he was scared, but it made her want to soothe him more, to touch him and taste him into the eye of the storm. It would be calm there for a little while until she unleashed her desire. Glancing over to him from the side of her vision, she saw him touching the cross around his neck. Ugh, she had to figure a way to get that thing off of him! With her eyes glancing forward again, she noticed that they were soon enough outside of the building she was seeking. They had passed through the middle of the courtyard, passed some benches and tables, trash cans. The sound of him clearing his throat had made her mentally smile again. Now that they stood outside of the building she had to get to, having found it by numerical order along the outer edge, she knew it would have taken longer without Mikal. She heard his question and she smiled over to him. Her first thought was to say ‘you’ to his question, but she didn’t. Keeping it to herself, she smiled a bit.
“That depends on how things go, but I wouldn’t mind meeting up with you,” She happily replied to him. She wasn’t sure how he would take it. He might want nothing to do with her, but there was something about him that drew her closer. She wanted to know him, even more than just pushing him down and having her way with him before vanishing.

Mikal could not help himself when he stuttered. And he began to notice how much she liked it. Did she seriously find it that cute? He almost started blushing all over again, but somehow managed to stop himself. He had no idea who the woman was, but only knew of what God had told him. There was no question that this little succubus was meant for his guardianship. He would have guarded her without even being asked to. Perhaps for a side project even. But how could Mikal have such inplaceable thought? He gulped at the grin that was placed on her lips after he had asked her what her plans were for later, followed quickly by a light pink blush on his bronze cheek bones. It was perfectly complimentary to his skin color, making it seem so wonderfully adorable. Mikal would never notice such things about himself or others. He did not truly know that meaning of being attractive. He thought everyone was beautiful no matter what. But that was how he had been schooled. Angels do not pass judgement of others just as God did not. Not only Mormons go to heaven.
Mikal grinned widely at her response. So she would see him after! He was delighted. More than delighted. Ecstatic. She was definitely attracted to him, any man would have seen this. But Mikal moreover saw her inner beauty and wanted to weep at her acceptance. "R-really? That's great!" He paused by the double door leading into the building and quickly grabbed the handle. Where had his manners gotten him? Apparently to a place where this woman wanted to give him atongue bath. The thought crossed his mind once more and he almost giggled at it. How impure! He kicked himself mentally as he tugged open the door.
In his more proper state of mind, Mikal stepped to the one side and bowed slightly, grinning with silly pleasure at being chivalrous. Lost arts were not lost in Heaven. He had learned that one from his foster mother there. Even though there was never really one set parent for the lost children of the sky, Mikal had attache himself to a woman that seemed similar to one he had been born to, until they had joined him in the heavens years later. Oh, he had so much left to learn and see! But this was one task he needed to complete before moving on to things he wanted to do. "I'll wait here for you. Maybe coffee? Oh! And what's your name?" He had not bothered to ask the question earlier, but leaving her side for an instant made him curious.

Lucretia definitely loved his stutter. She did find it that cute! That stutter matched with his blush was almost too much. Was he really that innocent? Had nobody ever tasted this lovely man beside her? That was hard to believe. How could he be so hot and get away with not having been taken before? Maybe he hid. Oh, the idea of the two of them playing hide and seek then made her smile. If he went to hide and she found him, it was going to be off with the clothes. Shaking her thoughts mentally, she had to try and stop thinking of Mikal in such a sexual way, but it was so hard not to! Again, Mikal had blushed, but it only made her smile as she quietly adored it.
She would see him after taking care of Mr. Martin for sure. He smiled at her reply. Did he really think she was going to say no? How could she say no to that face? Lucretia was very attracted to him already, more than she had been to anyone in a long time. Mikal was not one of her jobs. He was her own choice, her own prospect. That made it even more special and even better on so many levels. His sweet voice gave a little stutter as she agreed to meet him afterwards and she smiled wide, giving him a nod. “Then I can tell we are both looking forward to it,” She replied to him as he held one of the double doors open for her. “Thank you,” She would say as she passed through the door he held open for her. Lucretia noticed things like that and appreciated them. Many of these modern day men did not do such things.
She liked the small bow he gave to her as he opened the door. She almost never saw that anymore. It would be nice if more men could be chivalrous these days. It had been unexpected when he told her he’d wait for her, but that was probably a good idea since she didn’t know the place well enough. He suggested coffee and then asked of her name. So many things so fast, it made her laugh. “We shall see, Mikal,” She said his name again, wanting to hear it in her voice. “My name is Lucretia. I will do my best not to make you wait too long here,” She said to him before slowly moving past the inside of the doorway where she was standing and she’d give him a wink and a grin before heading off to find Mr. Martin. Once there, it didn’t take much for him to let her into his office and within five minutes, she had his clothes off and was enjoying him. Her job was to kill Mr. Martin, but in the most pleasurable way reserved only for the best of the best.
In twenty minutes, she had him laid out across his desk as she rode atop him and she was feeding from his energy. It was a close call, but as she was draining his life, she thought of Mikal. With every wave of pleasure that rippled through the two of them, as she stared down into those eyes, she thought of that sweet, stuttering blond. Then, she couldn’t do it. She was so close and she couldn’t do it. She couldn’t kill him. Inwardly, she growled, knowing Mikal was the cause of her hesitation. Once her and the professor got their rocks off and he was so close to death’s doorway, she couldn’t pull it off. Mr. Martin was on his desk, his pants back on and his skin cold to the touch. He’d have to have a few days of hospitalization to recover, but he wouldn’t remember her face. Still, he’d live and that would piss of her boss.
Lucifer was sure to be at her doorstep, but she had dealt with him many times and could do it again. He liked her, so he’d not get as angry as he could with others. Mr. Martin still had a pulse as she exited his office unseen. He looked like he was sleeping, but another student would be at his office door to meet with him in ten minutes. The window for her to pull this off was limited and she had not done it. Ten minutes would give her enough time to escape with Mikal and also give her enough leeway that nobody would know it was her...except for Mikal. Finding her way back out to him, she wanted to be angry for him causing her to fail today, but it wasn’t really his fault. All she could do was smile and think about making her thoughts of him in Mr. Martin’s office a reality. Lucretia didn’t look any different than when she had gone in, but her energy levels would be a little different.
“Where would you like to go, Mikal? I am thinking…off campus, hmm?” She grinned to him as she came back to him and waited for him to start walking and speaking in that pretty voice of his that matched his equally pretty face.

He blushed darkly at the sultry sound of her voice as she said her own name. Lucretia. How beautiful it sounded. "Lucretia," he repeated softly as he watched her disappear into the building. She would return to him in a matter of minutes, but Mikal had a hunch that it would feel like an eternity without her there. What was he thinking? He let go of the handle and peered through the window to watch her go then twisted toward the small splotch of grass near the building. He did not know the feelings that circulated his body. He felt such joy from meeting the demon, when he paused for a moment in his thoughts. His wide smile went to being a concerned frown in a matter of seconds. He stretched himself out on the grass and placed his hands underneath his head. What were these feelings God? The question was rhetorical, but he would not have minded an answer. Where did they come from?
He had an sneaking suspicion that this was what the girl was purposed for as a demon. She had close ties to Lucifer, which usually meant she was her employee. His eyes travelled back toward the building as he began to wonder what was going on in there. A moment's thought told him to go check on her, but she had only been gone for a few short minutes. Surely she was not going to...no. That was just plain silly. Mikal forced a laugh to clear his thoughts of such grotesque behavior. She seemed so much sweeter than that. How could he ever think such ill of the beautiful creatures that women are. Mikal settled further into the grass and watched the sky. Clouds rolled by and birds chased one another through the trees. His high mood had dampened a little, but his spirit was still up. He held such confidence in this woman that he could turn her around. His guardianship would be put to the test. He had to help her change, or be changed.
It was something that God had pulled him aside and warned him about. If he was unsuccessful, there was a high chance of being turned into the opposite side. Mikal gulped at the thought of being a demon. The images he had for the creatures were none too much like what Lucretia herself looked, but far more to the extreme of nightmares. He didn't even want to know what her true appearance was. Demons were foul. He started to wonder why he wanted to take this job in the first place. But he could answer that easily. He wanted to walk the earth once more. And if it included reclaiming a soul in the process, then so be it. His cheeks turned rosy at the comments Lucretia had made earlier. Oh! Why could he not control his naivety? She liked it. Far more than what he would have liked.
Time had seemed to slip by, for she had returned. Her steps seemed to bounce through the doorway, yet move in slow motion. Mikal got to his feet hastily as she asked him a question. Where would they go? Mikal could only blush a little smile sheepishly. How long had she been standing there, watching him daydream like a fool? He was afraid of the answer and tried to push the thoughts from his mind. He didn't want to know what she was thinking at all. "Uhm...well, there's a uh...small cafe a couple streets over." His hands fidgeted at his sides, playing with a stray string he had found and the other fiddled with a beltloop. "Un-unless there's somewhere else you'd rather go." His nervousness seemed to leap at her return. Was he truly afraid of what could happen this day? He didn't want to think about it, and he hoped to his God that He would be there to help his angel.
